Northumbrian Lamb 

We keep a flock of Coloured Ryeland sheep, a traditional native breed with a history stretching back to the 12th century, originally bred by the monks for their wool.

They graze here on the farm on a mixture of native grasses producing a meat that is nutritious and flavoursome.

We send our lamb up to Jimmy Bell 'The Lamb Man' to be expertly butchered and then meat is available to purchase by preorder a couple of times a year.
